Biff is a silly guy that got isekai'd to his favorite MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV Online. He forgot his name, but not his game tag "Biff Jerky", which became his new name.Prior to the events of FFXIV, he used to be salaryman that quit his job of a decade to become a NEET after saving up enough money. His days consisted of cup noodles, indulging in parasocialism with Vtubers and arguing on 2chan about best waifu— The bonafide definition of a pig otaku. Not soon after finally being freed from his corporate slave life, his life got turned upside down in ways he would've never imagined.When Biff first arrived in Eorzea, he couldn't process it was his new reality, and felt rather apathetic towards everything. He didn't care what happened, he simply wanted to get back home as soon as possible and resume his listless lifestyle.As time went on, he started to grasp the weight of being the Warrior of Light. With each new journey and every person het met, he changed bit by bit, becoming a more caring and overall kinder individual, to the point of feeling ashamed for who he was prior. Long gone are the days of yearning to go "home" as soon as possible, for Eorzea is now his new place to belong. However, this ardenous journey has also left him with a lot of trauma, physical and mental scars and other conflicted feelings he's refusing to acknowledge for the most part. Sometimes his inner turmoil slips through the cracks, leading to more reckless behaviour in combat or moments where he seems to be deep in thought and disconnected. He's quick to shrug it off with a wry smile, though.

  • While he remembers everything prior to being isekai'd, there's a gap in his memory of how it happened and the fact that he ended up in a "game" world. Anything he knew about FFXIV in the context of a game is also wiped from his memory.

  • Uses modern Japanese honorifics in his speech, which are auto-translated to the hearer's target language in universe (ex. -san becomes sir). Instances of -chan can be turned into nicknames or just the name itself, depending on the intent behind it.

  • Due to suddenly being pulled to an other world, he didn't think anything he did would matter or have long lasting impact. So he stuck with his gamer tag, "Biff Jerky", as a name and very quickly came to regret it once he realized he cannot go back to where he came from. He's fine with Biff but rarely uses his "last name" and absolute loathes being called by it in any capacity. Mostly known as Biff or Biffy only.

  • While he cycles through various jobs, Machinist is his favourite due to his previous love for FPS games. Likes to attach little trinkets & charms to his guns like in Apex Legends or Valorant. On the other hand, he doesn't like melee combat due to his past experiences as a dragoon and finds it more tolerable to see carnage from a distance, than up close.

  • Is able to draw very well. Before committing to a life as a salaryman back on his home world, he wanted to become a mangaka but gave up on this after he graduated highschool. Still likes to draw from time to time, though.

  • In order to secure financial stability outside of what he gets from being the WoL, and driven by his innate desire to work, he has been trying all kinds of different business ventures. One of them being producing rather thinnish books filled with provocative illustrations of a white haired hyur and a blue haired elezen, that coincidentally resemble two scions. Has with two assistants, Himeka and Fue, that do the work for him while he's out being busy the WoL.

  • He's fighting inner demons on a rather daily basis, one of them being that he might be bisexual and mostly into men. It's a huge mental hurdle for him but he'll get there someday, maybe. His assistants, Himeka and Fue, think he's a very closeted gay man. They're not only helping out of respect for him being an artist they admire, but also as "moral support" for his "self-expression through art".

  • Really interested in cuisine, likes seeking out unusual ingredients to use in his cooking or trying out new dishes. He's an expert culinarian too. Despite being such a foodie, he has yet to find something as "elegant" yet "simple" as cup noodles. Has tried to recreate it many times but it's just not the same. In general, he does enjoy ramen and his favourite is yuzu ramen.

  • His fashion style is modern, formal & casual. He doesn't enjoy wearing bulky armor or overly complicated gear since it feels stuffy to wear. He'll make an exception for certain gear as long as its making him look "freaking cool", however.

  • Picked up crafting as a way to make things he had back in Japan. This goes from clothing to his liking (shirts with anime girls printed on them) to model kits and figurine garage kits. Has a terrible habit of accepting crafting favors from others and constantly making things without any sort of compensation.

  • He's a bonafide pervert and "AV" connaisseur and collector. Has a laundry list of sexual fetishes that he enjoys, particularly "cuckolding" and ones that involve "housewives with big breasts". He yearns that one day he will find a likeminded comrade-in-arms who he can share his passion about all kinds of Kugane Culture Books and Video Tapes with. (Despite his vast knowledge in this field, he is still a virgin, and thinks kissing is "extremely lewd".)

Despite being rather introverted, Tadano is a regular guy who simply enjoyed lending a hand to the people around him. Having spent most of his life in Kugane being somewhat of a recluse, his parents encouraged him to go on a trip around Eorzea as a way to broaden his horizons. However, this certain trip ended up with him running into all kinds of troubles... and before he could even realize it, he was already part of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and known as the Warrior of Light.This sudden development came with a lot of admiration and fame from others— a bit too much, even. Since his once peaceful life has been now turned upside down to one of a harem protagonist in a trashy isekai fantasy novel. Not only does he have to fight to protect the world from evil, but he also has to fight to protect his sanity from the amount of fanservice-like situations he ends up in.

  • He's somewhat overprotective of his little sister back home, and will not hesitate to misuse his powers to mow down anyone that dares to get too close to her.

  • He likes collecting objects he thinks are interesting. Lately, he's been really into collecting rocks. Has a collection going on from each region he visited.

  • Prefers to have his bangs long enough that they cover his eyes, due to the fact he feels somewhat insecure about them being pink.

Bau was born in the Guette tribe, a secretive collective deep in the mountains surrounding the Azim Steppe. The tribe had been long plagued by illness, making it difficult to function as a proper one. They believed this was a 'curse' from the outside world, and isolated themselves as a result. Their ancestors have tried multiple unconventional ways to find a cure and increase their health, but after generations and generations of trial and error, they simply have given up and started seeing it as a blessing to be on death's doorstep instead. With each generation, having a weak consitution prone to illness and surviving on the bare minimum became the norm, while also still practicing abnormal traditions.While Bau seemed to be no different at first, he was in surprising good health, making him more capable than the average tribe member. He'd often go outside of the village, bringing back all sorts of gifts back for his mother. They started small, such as edible berries and flowers, and then it turned into animals he hunted on his own. His mother, who was the matriach of the clan, saw it as a sign of salvation and a blessing for the tribe. This lead to him being assigned the position of provider at an extremely young age. With all the energy he could muster mentally and physically, he carried the responsibility of hunting and foraging, ensuring the tribe had enough resources.While Bau had gotten no choice from his mother in being the provider for the tribe, he did as told because he loved his mother. When this role was shoved onto him at first, he was upset that he had to bring "gifts" for the whole tribe now. But, he could see that it made his mother happy, so he accepted it even if he didn't want to. The way she would beam with delight whenever he got enough "gifts" for the tribe are some of his fondest childhood memories.As he grew older, there were less words of praise and more physical punishment from his mother. No matter how much Bau brought back to the tribe, or no matter what he did, he could not escape the abuse coming his way. The feelings of love he once held for his mother turned completely dull. Bau continued to do as told, but didn't care about putting in any effort anymore. If there were any consequences, he'd simply accept since it had become the mundane for him. The memory of his mother's smile had become a long distant one by now. To find a moment of respite, Bau started going down the mountains more and to Reunion. Spending most of his time there listening to daily conversations of other tribes and passing travelers. He'd also start shirking his duties, opting to nap rather than going out to hunt and find resources. At times, he even found himself staying down the mountains for days at a time, yet he could never stay away for too long and always returned. While the hatred was swelling up within him, disobeying his own mother was still a hard choice to make.He once ran into a peculiar man with pointed ears and scars across his face at Reunion who was exploring the Azim Steppe. The man was curious about the different tribes and making different inquiries, and he ended up bothering Bau at some point. Said man misheard Bau speaking, calling him by "Baguette" instead. Every time the man returned at the Steppe, Bau would often be seen around him and listen to his stories of the outside world, growing more interested in about what was out there to see each time. Though, as much as Bau wanted to see the outside world, he knew wasn't allowed to make the decision to leave. Until the man told him that it's his life to live, and all he has to do is break the very metaphorical chains that bounded him. Having reached his limits, Bau listened to the man's advice and severed each chain one by one with his axe, setting himself free by never needing to return again. As a final "gift", Bau left his mother behind to rot in the mountains alongside the community she fostered, and finally was able to live a life of his own.Or that's how it was supposed to be like.Sudden rumors of a horrific "killer" started to spread across the land, leading to Bau to be paralyzed with fear of what might happen to him if it got revealed that he was behind it all. Unable to wash the blood of his own hands, he was backed into a corner— Until the very man who planted the idea of "freedom" in his head extended an invitation to become his new so-called travelling companion.Leaving the Steppe behind, he set out on his very first journey to the outside world.

  • His axe is his main weapon of choice, but he is also skilled at using the bow and daggers. In general, he has no problems picking up any weapon or object to use as a weapon, aslong as casting spells isn't involved.

  • While it was short-lived, he worked the grills at the Azim Steppe Burger King part-time during his teens as part of his rebellious phase to run away from home. This started a legend of the "Fleeting Godly Griller" who made otherwordly burgers that would shake the core of your existance.

  • Bau keeps to himself a lot, and mostly speaks only if neccessary or if he's interested enough to hold a conversation. He will not hesitate to verbally abuse his travelling companion at any given moment, however. When he speaks, for some reason, he has the speech pattern of one would deem to be a "bonafide gamer" in modern society.

  • He's usually seen frowning or looking displeased most of the time. While that is his default state, he also has very poor eye sight (nearsighted). Thinks glasses are a pain so he refuses to wear them. They usually end up breaking anyway.

  • His wardrobe is mostly picked out by his travelling companion. He has no preference for clothing, outside of t-shirts with weird writings on them like "I <3 LIMSA LOMINSA" or "Can't Keep Calm, I'm A Gamer" (unknown where he procures these).

  • He mostly does all the physical labor, or rather dirty work, under the command of his companion. He's not neccessarily opposed to it, given that he feels like serving others is the only thing he's capable of. Currently, he's tasked with going after the Warrior of Light but he is a little endeared by how pathetic the WoL is, so he keeps delaying his task of capturing him.

  • Holy Father is posessed by a voidsent in the shape of a worm, and a "worm". He's vaguely aware of the voidsents presence, but not the other. He's often hungry and craving for aether, and tends to get stomach issues when he doesn't consume enough aether. While he's gotten used to it, at first he believed it was because he ate too much sashimi one time, but that's because he confused it with symptoms of a tapeworm.

  • During his mid-life crisis, he bought a Cybertruck. Left it behind at the Ishgardian Orthodox Church after he didn't want it anymore.

  • Calls Baguette by "mon petit Baguette" and considers him to be his little pookie-wookie. In actuality, he is a very lonely individual and developed severe attachment issues to the one person that seemed to stay in his life, even if it was against their will. This manifests into grotesque spoiling and pampering Baguette isn't asking for. Goo goo babies, if you will.

  • Yusei has an unhealthy attachment to Biff and calls him by "Sou-chan". Nobody knows where this nickname came from, or if it has any significance. Neither does Biff comment on it, and he reacts to it rather normally.

  • He seems to know every place by the back of his hand, and has an incredible easy time navigating and to find whatever or whoever he needs. He chalks it up to having a "perfect memory", so to say.

  • He's rather distrustful of everyone, and only confides into Biff. He does have a certain fondness for the Arcadion fighters, though.

Currently, she's juggling multiple part-time jobs, which she often struggles with due to her limited knowledge on city living.She is a rather innocent and tomboyish kind of girl.During a cultural arts market, she came across a table selling all kinds of books. Reading is one of her hobbies, so she naturally gravitated towards it. However, little did she know that she had picked up a book full of steamy man on man action.That day, the trajectory of her life was changed.Later on, she ended up meeting an other girl named Himeka, which became her best friend, or "fujosister". While her demeanor is of a common rich young lady, she has an extreme short fuse and is prone to outbursts.She's a talented artist who excels at painting sceneries. When she was a teenager, she discovered a certain genre of fiction called "Boy's Love", and thus she was swept away in the beautiful world of naked men pressing their bodies against each other.She came across one of Biff's notorious yaoi doujinshis, and was so profoundly moved by it that she personally sought him out to become his assistant. Biff is her beloved sensei, but outside of his talent, she does think he's kind of a creepy, gross old man.Disowned her father, which is a sensitive topic to her.
